The lounge and dining area is open plan with large, south facing windows, lovely oak beams, cosy low ceilings and atmospheric 'downlighting'. The focal point is a gas fired, coal effect, rustic stove with a splendid oak beamed surround. This area is equipped with text colour TV, radio, cassette and CD player,and is furnished with two comfortable settees and a high-backed carver.

The adjacent dining area has an oval dining table (which seats up to six) and a petite welsh dresser. Hard wood French windows open onto a south facing exterior deck and veranda with views to Causey Pike and the fells beyond.

The compact kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker and grill, microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment), kettle and toaster. Views from here are towards Skiddaw and the north.

The main double bedroom has Victorian Pine furnishings, intimate ‘down lighting’ and south facing windows. It has an en-suite bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and a luxurious corner bath with full shower facilities.

The second twin-bedded room, with its own shower and wash-basin, is also furnished in pine and has views towards Whinlatter.

There is an additional toilet and cloakroom/drying cupboard off the main living area.

Patio garden The pretty patio and floral garden, at the rear of the cottage, has a picnic table and four chairs and views towards Skiddaw. A barbecue and sun loungers are is available for our guests' use, during the summer, weather permitting. The gravelled parking area has room for two cars.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Jasmine Cottage for a charge of £15 per dog per week.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
