The outstanding feature of the upstairs accommodation at Holly Bank Cottage is undoubtedly the view. The enormous picture windows in the lounge and front bedroom face directly towards Skiddaw and Latrigg, with Blencathra just visible behind. On a clear day, the view stretches for miles towards the South, over the Dodds, to the top of Helvelyn.

Holly Bank Upstairs is very comfortably furnished and has everything you could ask for in a holiday property. It sleeps up to 4 people in a double and a twin bedroom and comprises:

Entrance Hallway
Access is through the front porch and hallway where there is plenty of room for storing wet coats and walking boots. Stairs at the end of the hall lead up to the rest of the apartment.

Lounge/Diner
The large lounge/diner has two comfortable settees where you can relax and admire the wonderful view after a hard days walking or sightseeing. A radio/cassette/CD player, TV and video are provided for your entertainment as well as a selection of books, games and jigsaws for all the family. The round dining table is conveniently situated just outside the kitchen, and will comfortably accommodate four people.

Kitchen
The kitchen overlooks the garden and is well equipped. It has an electric oven, with ceramic hob, a microwave, fridge, larder freezer, kettle and toaster. The garage also houses a large chest freezer, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Bedrooms
There are two comfortable bedrooms. The front bedroom has a large picture window with views across the fells similar to those seen from the lounge. It is furnished in pine with twin beds, double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The back bedroom, also furnished in pine, is a double and overlooks the garden.

Bathroom
The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower (no bath), wash basin and toilet.

Garden
The gardens are fully enclosed with gates to front and back. Benches, sun- loungers and a barbecue are available for our guests to use when the weather permits.
